We are committed protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Statement and in accordance with our obligations under the applicable Greek data processing legislation as well as the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation as it enters into force on May 25, 2018.

This Privacy Statement covers:

  • The Company Acqua Source as stated in the financial statements

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will manage your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Statement and in accordance with our obligations under:

  • the Greek Data Protection Act, and
  • when applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, as amended from time to time.

1. What are personal data and special categories of personal data?

Personal data means data relating to a natural person who has been or can be identified (“data subject”) such as your first name, surname, address and postal code, telephone number and e-mail address, etc.

Special categories of data are a subset of personal data and may include data such as race, origin, religion, sexual orientation, medical and health data, as well as trade union membership.

2. What kind of personal data do we collect and maintain and why do we do it?

2.1    General

We collect your personal data to provide services to you and/or receive services from you.

The personal data that we may ask you for, includes your contact details (your first name, surname, telephone number and e-mail address) and identification data (such as your driver’s license or passport details). If we collect special categories of data about you, we will ask for your explicit consent and inform you of the purpose of this processing.

We may also ask you to provide us with data from time to time, such as reporting a problem with our products or services, filling out surveys, questionnaires and feedback forms that we use to monitor quality and research purposes.

2.2 Legislative and regulatory requirements

We may also collect your personal data to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. What happens if you do not provide us with this data?

It is your right not to provide us with any information and not to be identified. However, if you choose not to provide the personal data we request or not to be identified, we may not be able to provide you with the products or services or information you need.

4. How do we collect your personal data?

As a rule, we collect personal data directly from you (unless you have given your consent). We collect the personal data you provide to us electronically, including information you have provided to us through the use of our website, during telephone calls with our representatives, during the delivery and management of our products or services to you, as well as in paper or other correspondence, in writing or electronically, completed by you.

If we receive personal data about you, which we have not requested and which is not relevant to the provision of our products or services or the receipt of services by you, we will destroy or anonymize the data, unless its retention is required by Greek law.

Cookies
Every time you visit our website (www.acquasource.gr) a cookie will be sent to your device. This is a small information file that is stored on your hard drive and informs us of your computer’s access to our website. The cookie will not be able to identify you. If you do not want to use cookies, you can either select the field “I do not agree” that appears to you as a pop-up window when you are on our website or set your browser to reject them. We use cookies from our website for statistical purposes.

Acqua Source uses Google Analytics or similar tools to obtain trend information about user interactions with our website, for system administration purposes, identify problems and improve the website. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to report on visitor interactions. These cookies are used to store non-personally identifiable information, such as the time at which the visit was made, the previous visit of the visitor to the site, as well as the website that referred the visitor to the website. 5. How your personal data is used

Your personal data is collected so that we can: comply with the law, including doing anything that is required or permitted by law to do, manage the relationship with you, resolve any legal and/or commercial complaints or issues, facilitate our business activities, including perform other functions and activities related to the activities of Acqua Source and improve our services. In addition, if you have specifically agreed to this, we may inform you of our products and services, as well as of third-party products that may be of interest to you.In general, we do not use or share your data for purposes other than those set out in this Privacy Statement or for a purpose disclosed to you for which you have consented.

6. Do we share information with third parties?

We may share or share your personal data for any of the aforementioned reasons with third parties, such as: our companies, agents, external consultants and external service providers and contractors (such as any mailing provider, commercial agent or support services), government agencies such as law enforcement, regulatory and dispute resolution bodies (or any other body in which  disclosure is required by law or order of a court/court order) and any other person or entity to which disclosure by you is permitted.

We do not share special categories of data about you with any person or entity other than: our relevant corporate bodies, our employees and employees of our companies, governmental or regulatory authorities (including law enforcement bodies and courts), where required or permitted by law, and any other person as permitted by law.

Acqua Source may use your personal data to provide you with information about our services or products or those provided by third parties that we believe are of interest to you. With your specific consent, we may provide your personal data to third-party organizations for specific marketing purposes.

Based on the nature of our business relationship, we may want to refer to you as a point of reference for promoting our business to others. In these circumstances, we request your prior and specific consent and only share personal data for which you have consented.

You may at any time ask us not to communicate with you about products or services and not to share your data with others for this purpose by contacting us or, where necessary, by clicking on the “Delete” button that will appear in all promotional e-mail messages.

9. Storage and security of your personal data

We may keep your personal data in printed or electronic records. We have put in place safeguards, as required by law, to protect the personal data we hold against misuse, interference and loss, as well as unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. It includes a range of systems and communication security measures; as well as the secure storage of paper documents. In addition, access to personal data will be limited to those who have been authorized to access it.

We take reasonable steps to destroy or anonymize any personal data when it can no longer be used in accordance with the Privacy Statement.

10. How to access or correct your personal data

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the data we hold about you is accurate, up-to-date, complete and relevant when we use or share it. You should contact us if you think your personal data is incorrect.

You are not charged for accessing or correcting your data. There is only a charge for reasonable expenses incurred in processing and responding to your request for access, including photocopying, providing written reports, handling, and postage.

We notify you of receipt of your request within 5 working days of receipt thereof. We are committed to doing our best to process and respond to your request within 15 working days. If we are unable to serve your request, you will receive a written explanation of the reason and details of your possible actions; if you are not satisfied with our response.

12. Do you want to contact us anonymously?

You can of course contact us anonymously. However, if you choose not to be identified, our ability to provide the services or information you need is limited.
